When it comes to everything that has come to the forefront over the last few days, culminating with the Sharon Lewis lawsuit.

While this may not be the end of all the negative press we may get, it is for sure putting us in a bad light. I am predominantly talking football impact but needless to say it applies to all of our sports.

And even though most of the current regime may not be directly associated with what transpired, the impact surely will be felt i think.

I am gonna give this a high 7 out of 10 with 10 meaning we are totally fricked. Getting rid of Ausberry and Segar will surely help lower this number imho.

What says thou?

Put me down for a 6. Orgeron, Ausberry and Segar are in deep shite (along with a list of “b” players) and I don’t see how a lot of them keep their jobs. Not saying O is gone but I won’t be a bit surprised if he is

Yeah, I think depending on the severity of everything that comes out, there will also have to be a couple of somewhat sacrificial lambs that have to be slaughtered along with the wolves that have caused this mess just to appease the powers that be and gets them off our arse moving forward.

Meh. Some people will get fired. Maybe university pays out some settlements. I think ausberry gets fired. Everyone else will be safe. Nothing will come of this. Too big to fail.

LSU will throw some $ at the problem, fire a cat or two. Issue public apology and stance against sexual assault and praise the victims bravery for coming forward.

Story will fade away quickly afterwards.

If Baylor is any indication we’ll be winning national championships in major sports within the next five years.

LSU will fire a couple of guys, do something eyebrow raising to CEO that stops short of firing him, and the university will pledge to “listen, seek a better understanding, and do better”.

Life will go on.

Hell, maybe they’ll hire Drew Brees as a PR consultant.

Sadly Ausberry should start looking for work elsewhere. Everyone else that matters will squeek by.

Wtf did people want from O in the guice situation. A he said she said (that honestly at the time would have sounded preposterous) that quickly devolved into extortion; simply nothing else to call it.

Further what is the end game here from all the media and politicians other than mass malcontent? What is the resolution these people want?

in today's society, resolution is not the end game, it's acknowledge me as a victim and pay me some money while you're at it

You ask a legitimate question, but most of this board lives in denial. This is a terrible look for LSU sports and for the university in general.

college athletics is a sleazy business, people on here look at things through P&G goggles, in reality, what Guice is alleged to have done is tPOS behavior but not illegal, what Miles is alleged to have done is pretty common practice on campuses around the country, but not illegal, maybe a wrist slap unless it can be proved that he jumped on top of the girl on his couch, but still, if she said no and he backed off, no crime was committed, Orgeron hasn't done anything wrong except for his normal gross buffoonery
