They typically like to keep each side of the bracket on the same start day based on recent past. Feel free to post your predictions.

Sat 6/17

Oregon St. vs Cal St Fullerton 2pm CT ESPN
Florida St. vs LSU 7pm CT ESPN

Sun 6/18

Texas A&M vs Louisville 1pm CT ESPN

I mean, based on the schedule that LSUsports.net posted, it's not like you're taking a big leap here.

Would like to know for sure before I book flights. Not sure if I should fly in Friday or Saturday.

Will they wait until after the Florida game today to announce times?

Typically? The same side of the bracket has to start on the same days.

But speaking of typically, doesn't the Fri, Sat Sun Super regionals start Sat in Omaha and Sat, Sun, Mon ones start Sun?

My bet is almost certain the late game on Sun. FSU-LSU is the biggest draw on opening weekend.

I'm in Fremont Nebraska for work for the next 10 days! It's about 30 minutes from stadium. I will definitely be at this weekends game. Any suggestions?

That's what I meant. Sometimes the supers get split up between left and right side on start days (as it did this year) but they normally align them all once CWS format starts. Because the Florida/Wake Forest series is still in game 2 that side will almost be locked into the Sunday start date.

The FSU-LSU will draw a much larger national audience than Oregon St-Fullerton for a prime time matchup.

They'll have the times set by today, but no idea when they'll release it to the public.

LSU playing the Saturday night game would be great. Can get my tailgating in all day, then relax at the game. This layout makes sense considering WF/Florida is today. I much prefer the Saturday start.

Well, OSU played a Fri-Sat regional, and we played a Sat-Sun regional, and we are on the same side of the bracket.

So something has to give

When have they ever had the same side of the bracket play on different days? I can't imagine that has ever happened. Pretty sure its our side of the bracket on Saturday, and I would suspect we would be the night game.
