Ole Miss demise?

they've sucked or been mediocre for the majority of their existence

They are what they should be. A shitty school in a shitty state.

I do think it's funny seeing all their frat daddy students and alumni act like Ole Miss is the Harvard of the South

Mississippi puts out some good high school football talent. More NFL players per capita than any other state, but the state is too small to support 3 top tier college football programs. They need to drop either Ole Miss or Miss St out of the SEC and de-emphasis football at Southern Miss. If they has just one football program, like Louisiana has with LSU, they could field a very solid team in the SEC.

Ole Miss was a damn good football team with a great football tradition before 1970.

You are a damn fool if you have a problem with the way those ladies dress up for the Football Games and Grove. Plenty of eye candy on that campus. LSU fans wear shorts and T-Shirts, and that is fine, but don't knock the ladies for trying to shine up there.

Mississippi is high on the list but I think this award goes to Louisiana.

That said, if any one school could commandeer all the talent in MS it would be a force to reckon with.

There aren't enough neon lights in Oxford and no South Beach.
