You’re thinking too far into it. LSU will be guaranteed a spot at 10-2. Regardless of how it happens (there are many different scenarios in how it happens) they will have a spot if they are 10-2.

This is not true at all if there are 4+ 2 loss SEC teams.

Pete Golding is good for a loss himself at some point. In way over his head. Ole miss will return to what Trev Alberts correctly deemed them as back in 2003.

And many of those will not end up at 2 losses. In fact most won’t. Hell if LSU ends up at 10-2 than 3 of those are guaranteed to be at 3+ losses.

It’s 100% true.

UGA
UK
Ole Miss

All have a very real chance of being 10-2, and LSU will be the 4th SEC team for the committee if that happens.

“It’s 100% true”

Personally, I’d rather not leave it up to the committee to put LSU in as the 4th SEC team.

Win out and hope UGA beats Ole Miss. That’s the best scenario for LSU to be a lock. UK doesn’t matter at that point.

Are you forgetting that the result of that scenario means the winner of that game gets the higher seed and a bye?

Bro you are retarded. Ole Miss and LSU go to the SEC championship in that scenario and the winner gets a bye and the loser is the 4th SEC team in

I just don’t see this Ole Miss team beating a Georgia team looking for revenge. It’s at home but Ole Miss is poorly coached right now and Kewan might be finished

Calling someone else retarded while believing it’s a guarantee that the SEC gets a 4th team is peak irony.

Why Trinidad didn’t try to scramble more is baffling. What makes him two great and he just tried to be a pocket passer.

Also- I always disagree with getting the fg then trying the onside kick. Defenses play a little more off when they have a 2 score lead. Getting a TD first is easier than 2nd.

You realize both UK and Ole Miss having the same record as LSU is a bad thing, correct?

Tennessee loss to South Carolina is the worst thing that could happen to Kentucky. They should get rolled. Still can’t believe all the dominoes that fell for Kentucky to beat us… special teams touchdown, two turnovers, four dropped passes, worst tackling all season… timely drive killing or drive extending penalties (7 total for LSU vs 2 for Kentucky), failure to blow whistle when momentum obviously stopped multiple seconds… failure to slam the door shut by attempting to gain two yards. I hope we meet them again this season.

If LSU beat Alabama, Texas and Tennessee on the road, I highly doubt the playoff committee keeps Kentucky or Ole Miss ahead of LSU if they have the same record. Especially if Tennessee is one of Kentuckys 2 losses potentially.
