I will also be staying at the Roundabout Oxford. Looks like a fun place. Hoping to see some LSU fans on Friday night tailgating.

Stayed in Grenada when we went. Easy to get there and back. Good hotels and restaurants right there in the Area.

Yes some do. Not sure what the rates are like but they’ve got to be “better” than Oxford.

Uber is a thing but prices may be crazy.

Are you close to the square? Will you have a car? There are lots that you can park and shuttle. I just don’t know where they are.

Batesville. Oxford has the worst hotel situation.

i got the holiday inn express in Grenada on lockdown!

Stayed there two years ago for the Ole Miss game.

Went to the Mexican restaurant across the street on the Friday night and my s/o and I ordered margaritas. Didn’t realize they were the 32 ounce fishbowl kind. The tequila had me feeling great. CSB

Using free nights at Hyatt Ridgeland north Jackson area. Commute from there to and from Saturday, game over early so I’d rather be close to home and drive part of way back

Oxford real estate is booming, and the locals get 2 months of mortgage payments for Airb&bing homes on SEC weekends. 5 bedroom 4 bath with a pool went for $15k last year for the uga game.

Thank you for the contributions to the local economy!

They don’t. Pour it in a cup. Anything gets poured into a cup.

Anywhere around the square is good to eat .. and off as well. Not many chain type restaurants .. majority local which is great.

South depot has good margs .. will be super crowded though. Volta also has great food and margs. Lost pizza is delicious. Phillips grocery is good too.

Oxford imo is too small for weekends like this .. the influx of people is amazing. Also the grove tailgating is MUCH different from LSU.
