420-322. First downs OM- 25 Char- 17. Char had 143 on on ground. Thats not dominating. Charlotte is terrible. We will be fine. Just take care of ball.

I think we will win. I really like our DL vs their OL. I think that’s the difference maker along with us having better coaches.

With that being said, we can’t let Chambliss stick around late in game

This. If Leavitt doesn’t have a repeat of tonight’s first half we win.

If Leavitt doesn’t try to do too much I think we win. He needs to just throw the ball away before taking a bad sack or forcing a throw. He needs to hang in the pocket a little longer and not immediately bail out even though his running is elite. Ole Miss secondary hasn’t looked good through 2 games, so he needs to keep his eyes downfield and make some throws.

The defense needs to keep Chambliss contained, as much as we blitz and as fast as we are it’ll be easy for our guys to over run, take a bad angle, and run themselves out a play. If we keep him bracketed and force him to rush decisions I think we’ll be okay. Deuce Gerald’s is a beast we can’t let him get behind our secondary. Other than that, they haven’t looked spectacular.

The intangible factor here is how the two teams are reacting to the Lane situation between the two schools. Emotions are a two headed beast.

Leavitt seems to perform better on the big stage. Hope that's really the case.

Our defense went in Dry tonight. Tech had 0 yards and -22 rushing midway through the 3rd quarter. We won’t shut Lacey/chambliss down but I think we will do OK. Just get Sam to calm the frick down we should dog walk them

I agree that OM will not be running on LSU the way they did with Louisville and Charlotte. It will go a long way if Sam can avoid throwing another pick-6 this week. It would also be best if the staff diagnoses some of the OL deficiencies. 5 sacks on Sam is not ideal. Unless OM reinvents its DL or keeps the box loaded, I expect LSU will have a good running night. Overall I am not particularly concerned about OM. I don't see a scenario where we don't score at least 34 on them. I don't think their score will reach 34.

We cant have turnovers. Thats what keeps bad teams around vs good teams. It's a game changer. That and kicking FGs in the red zone. If we clean those 2 areas up then Ole Piss is in trouble.

I think Chambiss will be so mauled if he tries running that he won’t want to step on the field in the second half. That D will wreak havoc on him and Lacy. Just ask the LT QB. But for giveaways the vaunted offense that put 80 on the board last week would have had zilch.

Leavitt’s running changes the whole dynamic no doubt, but damn he can throw some ugly passes. That close one into the end zone wobbled like a field goal.

Green is gold! But #6 is bad about just mulling around.

If you watched the highlights of the game, Ole Miss was in total control of the game. They were up 27-0 at the half and basically having their way with Charlotte.
Charlotte did hit some big gainers that got them close but they had to settle for field goals. Lacy and Chambliss looked very good.
In no way did they struggle.
Now Charlotte sucks arse so it may not be that impressive. Ole Miss defense didn't look great so there's that.

The fact that there are those here that will equate Ole Miss performance versus Charlotte and LSU’s performance versus Louisiana Tech, as an indicator of how these two teams are gonna play each other Saturday shows how dumb the majority of you people truly are.
