I'm about to lay a wad on the Tigers minus 13.5.

The bet pays plus 350.

It seems like a sign from God.

I mean that’s a fair approach.
Hope it fuels the boys. They should have the mindset of chip on the shoulder every week.

Ole Miss is ranked where they are ranked simply because of natural process of elimination that happens in the AP for teams that have not played anybody. They are not a playoff caliber team this year, and the people who are leaning their way for this game will come to that conclusion after Saturday's game. Upsets happen, but we are the better team top to bottom and I believe that will prove itself out.

It’s all scheme and the book on lsu is to sit back in zone and dare us to run the ball into only a 5-6 man box because we can’t beat that.

We ran the ball on Clemson and that’s the game plan they used.

Florida kept a sneaking a safety into the run fit late to get 7 in the fit. Thats why we struggled to run the ball at times. Sloan took advantage of this but hitting Anderson once and another time hitting Sharp on that seam route that should have iced the game. Then Johnson fumbled and we lost 20 yards and followed that up with a Nuss int. Combine that with kneeing on the 3 yard line and the Florida game should have been 30-10. LSU opens it up some this week and takes more shots. Ole Miss cannot play 2 high safeties and stop us from running the ball. They give up 190 yards a game and are the worst SEC run defense.

I agree. At least we were in the top 10 for a few weeks.

I bet on Ole Miss so LSU guaranteed to win. I bet Ole Miss since I have more faith in their offense & zero faith in ours do to the offensive line.

hot pick of the weekend

They said the same thing last year when LSU traveled to Fayetteville to play the Hogs. Arkansas was a "sexy" upset pick then. LSU proceeded to beat them by 24.

Let all the talking experts pick OM;our Tigers are going to make a statement in Oxford on Saturday.
This Tiger defense is the D of LSU standards AND we are deep across the entire defensive team.
Nuss bus will dink our way to first downs till our run game takes off against a very suspect OM D against the run.

The national spotlight will look back on our Tiger win in Oxford as another verse of Calling Baton Rouge.

I just have sinking suspicion OM is going OM. This is a classic OM/LSU storyline and we know how this ends. They get up for this game and think they can win, and they can, BUT... I'm just not buying it. Our D is dramatically better than theirs and I'm sorry, give me Nuss with Brown, Thomas, Anderson x 2, Parker, Sharp and now Green?! Going against a guy that has never come close to facing a D like ours, coming from the all mighty Ferris State?! Over 5th year senior in Nuss, and possibly the best QB in the country when its all said and done? Yeah, media heads.....take OM.

Chambliss is not good with his arm and I expect our secondary to ice this one.

I think that will be a problem going forward. This is a message board called the rant in case you did not notice.

The computers don't think Nuss is good for 28 points. If he scores more than that we win. It he's around 20 points , we probably won't. 3rd down stops will be critical in this game. If we have the ball, they can't score points. We need 28+ points and some long drives and 3rd down stops. A couple of drivestopping turnovers would be nice.

Statistics are great until they're not. Interceptions will cost Ole Miss dearly.
