Has anyone ever played an elimination game and then came through the loser's bracket to win the tournament?? That is a lot of games.
Yes, we have before. However, under the current format, no one has won the SECT without getting the first round bye

Broussard, Watson, Duplantis due up bottom of the 7th vs. Rolison (20 pitches)

It's not over, Ole Miss still has to get nine more outs..... Even if they win this game they are still Ole Miss and that is still sucks.

They said last night no team below 4th in SEC has won the tourney.
We won the tournament a few years ago (2010, I think) as the 8th seed.

I guess the question is "has anyone ever played 6 games to win the SEC tournament?"

I do think we can go deep into region. Nobody wants us sent to their region.
Agreed, not how we’ve been playing. We do have the pitching to get to Omaha in a regional and super regional format. But it’s honestly amazing we’ve made it this far in a 12 team tournament through the losers bracket and the teams we’ve played

Interesting the ace is still in

The expanded tournament hurt it overall. I know 8 of 14 would be a low number but it would make the tournament better.

My only complaint about this game is our hitting. The more pitching you see, the better you should get at the plate. I knew it would be tough on our pitching staff to have played in this many games in such a short time, but that no excuse for our hitters

Having pitching struggles at this point is very understandable. Our offense sucking monkey dick isnt

Honestly any team would be struggling to find quality pitching playing this many games in a row

Against a better team that has played fewer games.
Baseball is the most frustrating game to read social media about, because it's the easiest to coach in hindsight.
