Those helmets helped remind me of a time when football was the roughest thing on campus. Yes I would like to see the Tigahs play out the season with those helmets.

Grey face masks with the traditional LSU helmet logo would be perfect. I would be ok with logo on one side, and numbers on the other.

I don't like grey face masks except for school's whose colors include grey. Ohio State, for example.
I hate them on Alabama's and USC's helmets. I hate them on the Arizona Cardinals helmets.
I hate them everywere they are not supposed to be.
Leave them off the LSU football helmet, please.

The LSU helmet with the circle Tiger head is one of the most iconic helmets in all of sports.
LSU unis are routinely voted one of the best in college football. LSU has a national identity based on its traditional look.
The infatuation with such a generic style is a head scratcher.
But then again, some fans seem to like any deviation at all and get excited for the wrong gold, a bad logo, no purple jerseys, etc...

I like alternate uniforms here and there but I don't want to be like Oregon about it. Once a year some change is nice

Would like those pant stripes and REALLY like the more muted gold. With today's high definition televisions and greater color fidelity, there is no need for the nearly highlighter yellow in place of gold any longer.

I’m in for the throw-back helmets as long as we dont ruin them with the ugly purple shirts.

Count me in - I was there '56-'59 and I loved every aspect of their uniforms then.
