Does anyone have any good old pictures to share of campus/sport facilities? I’m always fascinated to look at those.

I’ll start: Tiger Stadium w/ Alex Box Stadium in the background. c. 1950s.

Almost looks like a graduation or something with that stage set up in the south end zone.

I know there is a building where part of the old Alex Box sits, but I always thought it would be cool if they'd paint the old field lines in that parking lot. Most of us old guys have some memories from the original alex box. It would be cool to see exactly where it used to be.

Should have built the south stadium like the rest of the stadium.

Dedication of LSUs Memorial Tower. I’ve peed in that corner on the left by Boyd Hall a few too many times during tailgates.

Amazes me how fans back then went to games in coat and ties. Reminds of when people used to dress up for travel on airplanes.

When discussions started about the new south upper deck, I was really hoping they would demo the lower south end zone as part of the process to match the lower north. Instead, they doubled down on ugly and did an atrocious job with the exterior of the new south upper.

Aesthetically, everything done to the stadium since it was a horse shoe has been one bad design after another.

I lived in Tiger Stadium my freshman year in 1947 because ROTC was mandatory for all physically able freshmen and sophomores and that was where we were billeted. Four to a room with toilet and shower and basins down the hall.
