This is the thread on it. Apparently the person saying it called CeeDee Lamb missing a game 3 days before anyone else earlier this year.
These guys here keep saying that they should do what the SEC does and just ignore it basically.
Completely breezing over the starting LB we have had out for the last half of the season, or the starting Offensive Tackle that has missed a lot of the season. Or I dunno the multiple transfers weve had over the last few years of kids quitting the team over getting suspended for smoking.

Who cares. We’re playing our game and dictating our own game plan.

None of those guys are any good
No big impact.

Reading that thread is hilarious.
They go on and on about SEC schools never punishing their players and specifically bring up LSU.
They have no idea we’ve had multiple players out with suspensions this year and that Divinity is still out for the game against them.

Seen one message saying put a late hit to Burrow. That fanbase has a bunch of bitches.

If you want Joe to beat you by 5 TDs and throw for 500. Then yea put a late hit on him.
That's his kink.

My relative that's a huge OSU fan just screenshotted a picture for me off of bucknuts about the situation. Rumor must be going around. Hope it's true

I saw that, no class, as well as knowledge that it just lights his fire. Very few players like Joe, that with every hit, his game elevates...

Definitely heard Dean Blevins and George Schroder talking about it tonight on my way home from work. They wouldn’t say who, but they sounded concerned.

If true, time to go full on Buddy Ryan and Bill Snyder with the "just slightly late" hits on Macaulay Culkin. It would be nothing personal, just for the sake of equality.
Nice quote from a sooners fan here. Guess they didn't see what Burrow did to UCF after the late hit last season..

Oklahoma fans are trash. Worse bunch of pussies you’ll ever come across

Yeah, ask UCF how well that hit on Joe in the Fiesta worked out for them.

I’m assuming no one there has brought up that we kicked a returning Heisman finalist off the team.

quote:Yep. And yes, they add recreational drugs to their postseason testing. No idea what the limits are (or how dilution is treated- retest or fail).
You’ve really gotta hammer it home before the playoff.
I don’t like our policy during the regular season but how hard is it to stop before the postseason when you know it’s out of the school’s hands?
That's the only reason, singular, I think our policy should stay in place... albeit with lesser penalties. Gives us a chance to get it under control before a bowl or CFP game.
And it's also double-whammy time of year. Always bad time of year for grade suspensions/ineligibility also. Also something I think we're doing a better job of being on top of, even though it was never really terrible at LSU.

Don't celebrate yet. Let's see what our drug tests reveal!

Rumors are going around since the big awards are over.
Saw a VIP thread on the sooners 247 board with a title about LSU losing 3 players due to grades.
But it's time for stupid rumors so no point really paying attention atm.

Perkins and Brown would be devastating for them. Not like they were going to stop us anyway, but that would hurt if true.
That's like us losing Swamp Monster and Fulton.
For the record: I think losing players over weed in a bowl or playoff game is complete bullshite. I know, I know... rules and all. But my opinion is that the punishment does not fit the crime in these cases.

Reports are that it will only be for one game, so they'll all be back for the National Championship game.
