I remember them being insufferable in 2003 before the game. We all know how that turned out.

Back in 2003 the Oklahoma fans in attendance at the national championship game were boring and stuck up.
The Ohio State fans in 2007 were great.

In 2003 when LSU played Oklahoma for the Natty their fans were the most arrogant fans of any team that's ever played LSU; especially for OOC game. Well, LSU fans didn't take kindly to it and they let the Oklahoma fans in and around New Orleans know about it. LSU fans did not like being talked down to and many Oklahoma fans left New Orleans with their tails between their legs and their feelings hurt. For some reason the OU fans were oblivious to the concept of treating other fans with respect. I can see this same scenario is probably going to play out again.

Five straight big 12 championships.
Zero national championships.
Actually they've won seven championships (1950, 1955, 1956, 1974, 1975, 1985, 2000) but none recently.

That would be Texas fans, my friend! UT will be the downfall of the B12.

It’ll end in a few weeks.

Pretty clear he meant during that 5 year stretch

Oklahoma fans are the Bama fans of the Big 12
They're the Florida fans of the Big 12.
Obnoxious, arrogant, and too retarded to see the big picture, ever.
quote:I still fly mine. Had only a yard banner just before the 2003 NCG and some local yahoo burned it in my yard.
I reveled in flying my LSU flag when I lived there for a couple years in the mid-2000’s.
They're beyond insufferable.

Most were won during an era when there was no limit to rosters and a handful of schools took advantage of it with "under the table" monies from big boosters. It didn't (and still doesn't) hurt that the winner of the Texas/OU game every year gets a free pass to the National Championship....assuming they don't stumble to other teams in their league who've yet to "sniff" a championship game ever....if so, then not in the past few decades. Compare that to the likes of LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee......all who've been there! And we think Clemson gets the easy route every year??
