He’s a politician and he made a good choice to get involved in a situation that most of the state is passionate about. At least he got on the right side of LSU sports unlike that mouth breather JBE.

The radio talking heads that “just care about sports” had an awful lot to say about Landry, even though they “weren’t political”.

The “state is on the hook” language was in the contract and the anti Landry folks were begging for the money man to bail out the tax payer so they could be right that the taxpayer wouldn’t be on the hook.
It shows who they are and they sound like whiny bitches that post here.

Landry helped get it done, props for that. Still doesnt change that he obviously lied or grandstanded about the coaches contracts being too much and that lsu would do a more incentive based one. Clearly that isnt what happened, which is what most of us were worried about
