At first I was ok with getting Les as a head coach and yes he brought us a National Chanpionship. He has some grit to him and shows some fire but here is where I have a problem with him as our HC.

You play the number 1 team on a national stage and you look like crap the whole game on offense. I mean we can gripe all we want about the O-Line and coaching, but as a head coach why not try to change some things up just one time to see what happens. I.E. - end around to Trindon, RS in the WildTiger formation.

Im now getting tired of this guy and I am fed up with these lame excuses that he brings to the table just to get by as a successful head coach because of our record.

Over the last 2-3 years, we have had unbelievable talent at every position and it just continues to grow year in year out. But to me until we get a HC that really has some fire that the players can feed off of (Jon Gruden) we will always be a top 15 team with great talent and a NC that was dont get me wrong awesome.

But for the love of God we played Florida the number 1 team in the country in our house and we looked like crap with the exception of our defense.

This team has no discipline and it showed with all of the stupid and I mean stupid penalties that we got.

The biggest penalty came on the 3rd and 7 play that we had Florida pinned inside their 20 I believe and one of our D-Line grabbed his facemask. The pass was never going to be completed and as a result 15 yards en route to the only TD in the game.

Oh and 1 more thing Mr 4th down. Punch the fricking ball in from the 2 in your own house so we can take the lead and the crowd can get back into it.

Stay tuned people. The Les Miles show will be boring with all of this talent that he wastes.

IMO, trick plays aren't the answer

they need to find an identity and find something they're good at that they can go to when they need it

Utter nonsense! LSU does NOT have overwhelming talent in the OL. And that was an incidental face mask which was correctly called but is bad luck, not lack of discipline. I didn't bother reading your entire post because you have holes in logic you could drive a truck through. Thanks but no thanks on your analysis.

Oh, and one more thing...you mean like it was punched in on 3rd down. Wishing to take the lead and actually executing and controlling the LOS of scrimmage....NOT the same thing!

It would not matter the talent LSU has, the coach is bush league and took this job for a cheap price.

He would have a hard time coaching high school.

Wow, guess you don't know coaches salaries because all of them are among the highest paid for their coaching duties in college football. That includes Miles, the coordinators, and the position coaches.

i agree with you one hundred percent, but its just not the offense that needs work its the everything, defense played their butts off and did very well, but needs work, like you said need to grow some balls and take a chance every now and then. he has talent learn to use them, would have like to seen Russell Shepperd in their as some misdirection or something

Trick plays and "cute" plays very seldom work when you're getting your butt handed to you. Just makes you look desperate and silly.

Well, Cadella, I was thinking more along the lines of suggesting he suit up against 'Bama and show CLM and we, the fans, how it's really supposed to be done. Either way works for me though.

Not that I'm thrilled with the almost total lack of offensive production, mind you.

I did...and you're still just another dilusional Tiger Fan that thinks we have 'unbelievable talent at every position.' it just ain't so.

how can the defense be our only bright spot when they were the ones committing all the penalties?

Did Les Miles grab his facemask? Does Les Miles teach grabbing facemasks?
get real bubba...the penalty was not a lack of discipline, it was a mistake borne of effort with bad timing. kids make mistakes...unlike the florida receivers who commit penalties like last nite (and Harvin last year) resulting in touchdowns...which SEC refs never seem to notice.
