It was there before I went to LSU in 2003. 2000-2001 sounds about right. It was actually banned like Neck at one point. They tried to get us to say Tigers instead of you suck. Lasted about a week lol.

I believe the first ban was when we played South Carolina between 06-09 and the great students added Cock(s) at the end of you suck. On TV it was easy to hear "You suck Cock"

As someone who was in school during 2000-02 and in the stadium for every home game, I can assure you that this cheer was not around during that time.

I was a freshman in 2004 and it was clearly already a thing. First quarter of the first game, the whole student section already knew the chant, so it definitely goes back to at least 2003 or earlier.
The 2007 South Carolina game was the beginning of the end for it, when we added "Cocks" to the end. I thought it was a very clever rendition, but apparently it didn't go over well with the administration. We were just calling them by their abbreviated nickname...
