Agree that he should move down. But, if CPM won't move him to CF because of karma, he sure as hell won't change where he bats in the lineup IMO.

It kind of is. If he's dead set on Crews batting first, then he needs to move somebody with a pulse to 8-9. Let Milazzo and Thompson bat 6-7.
Arnold and Gio (upon return) would be perfect 8-9 hole options, if he wants to keep Crews batting lead off.

Debating whether or not Crews should bat first or elsewhere in the order is good baseball talk, however, pointing out where guys bat deep in the game is juvenile. Other than the first inning no coach can dictate when in an inning a kid can hit.

Crews batting lead off instead of 3 hole did get him an extra at bat this game. I am not saying I agree with him at lead off, just throwing this out there.

Why? It is not even his idea. He stole this from the Astros when they put Springer in the leadoff spot and he became one of the best players in the majors.
Hinch said he did it because he would always take a run to start the game instead of a base runner. Having a 1-0 lead right out the gate is a very powerful thing especially in the postseason.
Besides, Crews gets tons of ABs in that spot.

Stupid. 1-0 lead happens with 0 outs or 1 out if he hits in two hole.With Morgan in one, how about starting a game with a 2-0 lead?
