Hire won't be easy, it will be like DC hire. Why coach up a position that is rarely use? Like Chavis, Henry also got tired of beating his head on the wall while Miles continues to interfere with the offense.

This can go one of two ways. You DO have to wonder how frustrating it might have been for a WR coach to have a position room full of talent that only caught two balls in the Bowl game and is under-utilized. At the same time, a prospective coach has to like the talent that Coach Henry assembled!

I am so proud that we have great coaches at LSU to make This decision because there is no way that I could bring myself to turn down Wendell Davis whether or not he is the best man for the job butnot !

If they guy can coach, he can coach almost any position. Never coaching WR at the college level isn't a concern IMO.

ehhhhh. Our WR play was night and day when we had quality coaches at the position, Monken & Henry, vs. shitty ones like Billy Gonzales

the ability to play the position has no relevance on the ability to teach the position
Then why is every coach a player?

Chavis made a lateral move. Henry accepted a promotion.

Wendell Davis would be an extraordinary selection - the man could catch a football and had technique to go with it. I hope that he is selected.

Very worthy.
