I keep seeing people saying he's throwing JJ under the bus. What exactly has Miles said that makes you think so?
"JJ made a great throw"
"I understand why JJ took the sack"
"I needed to have coached the QB better"
That does NOT sound like throwing a player under the bus.

Mr. Miles, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

It also shows in the video he is doing a kicking motion like: "Field Goal" AFTER he did the 'clock it' motion.

Why do we have to give him another year? It's only delaying the change that is definitely going to happen. I wonder how many coaches have already contacted all of our recruits and talked about the Ole Miss game.

How does JJ feel geting run over by his own HC in front of the media? Does he stick around next year? What about JL?

I agree. Bet you guys in Alabama are loving this melt down.
I don't like it. I actually like LSU and I think y'all have a great football team. I think the players on this team are NC caliber and deserve better than this.
I am one of the people that has stood by Miles but Saturday night was epic failure no matter how he tries to sugar coat it. I like to see LSU play well.

OK, so who's buying the "we didn't run for two because all our tight ends were hurt."
JJ can't sneak a yard?

So they were trying to spike it and get a defensive penalty?
I have no idea. That whole 12+ men idea is pretty irrelevant...just wanted to clear it up for those who thought he was lying. My initial reaction was the same, however, it was to kick the FG with 12 men on the field and essentially get two shots at it if the first try was missed.

im sure JJ loved being run over by the leslie lie bus once again

If the center is instructed to hike the ball when the official places it and turns away it is still a non-stop without having been given the signal to resume play. That accomplishes nothing.

Is it really that bad?
it's basically "yeah it's my fault... but JJ should have thrown the ball, we had a good played called... but it's my fault... but someone in the press box called for clocking it... even though I didn't... but it's my fault"

What I take from this:
- Miles didn't recognize that he could have two plays in nine seconds.
- Miles didn't recognize that there were almost 30 seconds that went by where his field goal unit could get on the field, which by his own admission takes 12 seconds.
- Miles didn't want a spike but was overruled, when he is the head coach.
- Miles' staff thought it best to spike the ball in hopes of getting a defensive penalty with :01.
- Miles lost track of time and didn't call a timeout until :09 were left.
- Miles said he'd correct the above, but HE'S PAID $3.75 MILLION AND SHOULD ALREADY KNOW THE ABOVE!
