He asked Les what he would say to 'some' who have implied that he was a liar about the clock it call. Not really sure what was going on there, but he specifically used the word 'liar'.

He's admitting enough responsibility for this game (our memories are fresh) but careful not to admit too much responsibility for blowing the entire season and raising the chances of getting fired.

Les hasn't thrown a single player under the bus. He says he UNDERSTANDS why JJ took the sack. He says its HIS responsibility to coach the situation and the players better.
