On the bright side, not that we wanted this, if Pineda and Gervase are gone we're down to 46 on the updated roster from 48

Last year the Angels went 20/20 on pitchers and I think 19/20 were college guys.

Honestly I wouldn't blame Gervase, but it would suck to have him put out that tweet then reverse it a day later. I was pretty excited about another year of him.

Not processed necessarily, but if they were making promises to guys on the assumption he wouldn't be there it's not always easy to take surprise returnees back.
Especially when it means burning a potential multi-year guy for a for sure one year guy.
