Teams have tonight to regroup and make calls but these same teams have been calling these same prospects today so not much is changed.

1) Dylan Tebrake is not Kumar Rocker
2) even if he got himself all the way up to the 3rd round, slot value is still below $1million, and he’s probably get much less than even that. I think absolute best case scenario he still gets less than half a million.

I don't see Dugas signing as an FA when he can come back and have a 20ish HR season and go decently early next year.

People see a million dollars and think wow. In reality after you pay your agent, taxes etc you clear maybe half of your bonus. Then you have to live on that for the next 3-4 years with your 30K minor league salary.

Not cut, but I thought there was a COVID senior rule where you could have 5 of them and not have them count toward final roster numbers.

We can have 5 of those. Right now I think it's:
Dugas
Beloso
Gervase
Pineda
Bollman
And that's it. I don't think anyone else fits that category, so technically none of those guys would need to be pushed out.
ETA: Tebrake and Gio also fit that category but neither are expected on the roster next season.

Where are we at on numbers right now? I doubt Jay expected to keep this much in the draft, so he'll probably have to push 3-5 more guys off the roster in some way now.
