I'm surprised that Hanover would want to leave, I figured going that late he would be a lock to come back. IMO if he and Nola both came back that would be huge for the team next year. It would be pretty incredible to have 2 four year starters on the field.

Definitely, I don't think Katz made a single error the entire season in RF if I'm not mistaken. The roster is going to go through a major overhaul in the coming months, but if I had to take three in the outfield at this moment it would be Fields, Jones, Katz.

What casualties are you seeing? Maybe shouldn't mention any names but there's definitely some obviously ones there I see.

I cant see Tyler getting $100,000.

Does anyone have a link to a website that posts what the bonuses are for everyone drafted in 2010 or 2009?

“You wouldn’t think Mikie would come back, but you just never know,” Mainieri said. “He thought he was going to go higher than 31st. He called me after the draft and the first thing he said was, "Am I welcomed back?" and I told him of course he was

WOAH... Is Mikie giving us false hope or is he legit thinking about coming back??

A lot of time for some of our people to get offered enough money.

I don't believe for a second that Mahtook will return. He might be a little surprised he wasn't taken as high as expected, but he's still a 1st round pick.

I'm surprised that Hanover may leave though.

Mahtook and Maneiri are just giving themselves some leverage with all the picks the Rays had - they want to make sure Mahtook gets what he deserves

Watkins?, Didier?, Cunningham?, Fury?, Snikeris?, Reed?, all guys I could see on the chopping block this summer. Obviously the two walk-on pitchers...

It's still crazy seeing how much they gave Zack Lee at that pick. He got top 3 money.

Watkins=> I'd say most likely gone. Only way he comes back is if we are in need of an outfielder. Even if he does return he sees little time in the field.

Didier=> I'd say almost 100% to not return. Limited action in three years, and never really did good at the plate when he did play.

Cunningham=> Started 9 games, but hit .162 at the plate. Could probably back though

Fury=> Another guy with limited action in two seasons(walk on). Gets his papers, do doesn't make the roster.

Snikeris=> Going into 2nd year and a SR. Don't really need him back there because Ross was good behind hte plate. Just need more offense.

Reed=> Didn't pitch this year, and had limited action as a freshmen. Depends on who signs if he gets his papers. Higher chance he stays.

Out of these people I don't really expect many of them to come back. This class coming in should replace all the 'fat' on our roster.

What is the roster limit for fall practice? Is the number the same for Spring, or is there another chance to parse down the numbers?

Final roster doesn't have be turned into until right before the season starts. So you can carry more than 35 players in fall practice.

Adam,

Now that the draft is over, where do you think the hs guys should have been drafted? I know a lot didn't because of talent or signability.

TIA
