Hard to say but I imagine Jensen or Marceaux.

He hasn’t seriously been considering LSU this entire spring

No one said we don't want him. He won't be able to pitch next year anyway. Why would he have come back?

Lmao. Stovall going to Arkansas.

Great job by the former staff. Wish I had a nickel for all the “he will never play in college posts”

Wasn't Peyton Stovall already selected in the 1st round?

To be fair Stovall’s practically from Arkansas (Haughton)

True. Just sucks

Oh well…new staff new era.

Hopefully we come out of the draft in good shape and develop the guys we get

The Royals may look to make a splash locally with either Jensen or Kudrna since their 1st rounder is almost assuredly going underslot.
Their first rounder is going to be so far under they may still be able to take Jensen in the third.

I’m interested in what happened with him. And Haughton is still significantly further from Fayetteville than BR.

In state recruiting this cycle was a borderline disaster. Credit to Cain.

There’s some questions about him defensively that were apparently enough to scare teams off of whatever high number he set.

Its nearly twice the drive to Fayetteville from Haughton as it is to BR

To be fair, Stovall wanted an LSU offer. They never even contacted the kid until after his verbal to Arkansas.

It'll definitely turn around. 2022 we're just going to plug with portal kids and then I'll bet we lock down the guys in-state going forward that we want (if we even want them).

We're going to have one of, if not THE, most formidable recruiting staffs in America. That paired with our program will be lethal.

Yea, I was more questioning what happened between him and us. His bat is seen as one of the best in the draft, his defense is seen as atrocious. The fact that the bat had him in first round consideration tells you a lot.
