I’m thinking something like:
C Garza
1B Beloso
2B Dugas
SS Doughty (or Hughes with Doughty at 2B/3B if defense becomes an issue)
3B Bianco
LF Willis
CF Gio
RF Cabrera
DH Travinski
C Garza
1B Beloso
2B Dugas
SS Doughty (or Hughes with Doughty at 2B/3B if defense becomes an issue)
3B Bianco
LF Willis
CF Gio
RF Cabrera
DH Travinski

If you are gonna put Willis in the field anyway, why wouldn’t you DH - Travinkski and 1B - Beloso. Same lineup but natural positions.

This is my dream team. It's obviously heavy on power.
C Garza
1B Beloso
2B Dugas
SS Doughty
3B Willis
LF Hampton
CF Gio
RF Cabrera
DH Travinski

Agree. Several of those are based on upside and there would be a lot of streakiness with that group.
Or is he the one you referred to the other day?

Good point. Just don't know if Willis can play 3rd at this level.
That was kind of the question.
Also, you could start Bianco at 3rd and start willis/travinski at DH based off of left/righty matchup

He is not. I just need to see him play better this summer/fall before I put him in a projected lineup.

To cloud the issue even further, Bianco is listed as a catcher on his summer league team.
But good luck getting stats for them. They've been playing for over a week now and there isn't a box score to be found for any team in the league.
IT'S frickING DUMB.

Texas collegiate league. Where beck was last year and ripoll is also going.

Summer ball can be so misleading at times though.
Have a few rough weeks and your summer ball time might look terrible, but you're a great hitter the next season.
Play out of your mind for a few weeks and the summer looks really good, and then you cant hit anything the entire next season (Hal Hughes...didn't he hit like just under .300 in the Northwoods last year?).

I still think it’s a decent indicator. Guys like Deichmann, Kramer, Stevenson, Fraley (who has some horrendous Falls) all did very well the summers before they blew up.

Oh please no

Yeah I wasn't criticizing the league itself, just the short amount of time it is for a lot of our players since we tend to put a lot of them in so late. A slump or hot streak can really affect the numbers in a big way.

I must have missed something.
Is someone hinting that Willis is transferring?

Someone is hinting that someone is transferring, and we are assuming the worst.

Was it BT17 hinting this?
