Hess is pitching at all this summer? After Mainieri was obstinate about him pitching last summer and he increased his innings by 50% this year? Weird.

im sure he'll be limited, but maybe they want to keep getting him familiar with the routine involved with starting games, as well as developing control & tinkering with mechanics.
