Well, I'd say this game ends at a nice score of 37-13 LSU. Its time for me to get ready and head out for the Auburn-ULM game.

they haven't been great but it's about what i expected for their first real game action. hopefully lee will start to come on strong because i don't think hatch is the answer for the entire season. the punting on the other hand is horrible. if the punting is this bad throughout the season it will cost LSU a game

In case I need to clarify myself, yes the defense is playing lights out right now sans one poor play. And that is very promising considering the athletic scrambling QB they are up against which has always given them loads of trouble.
That and facing multiple WR sets, considering LSU's lack of experience at CB.
Defense is a shining star, the same as RB and O-line play. But you do have to scratch your head at the punting and QB play.

Well I know for me and I would hope most of these fellow "Rantards" would agree. I know it's a tune up game and a learning experience, And I know we are way up and the game is set. I just don't like how sloppy the play has been and the lack of intensity. This is the first game of the season and we shouldn't be taking plays off for any team. Maybe dial it down a bit but never take a half off really. Going from 31 points in a half to only scoring 3 points in the 2nd half so far stinks of taking it easy.
I just don't want this team getting use to taking plays off and taking it easy for when we play the harder teams ahead of us. Dial it down all ou want but don't lose the intensity. After watching UT come from three scores down at halftime a few years ago I never wanna see the team play soft again lol.
