Money is great, if you don’t have it.
I’d rather be the bmoc with college tail for 2-3 years than play in the minors.
Unless the minor league teams are in ok places, major cities, etc. I have no idea where the Brewers farm teams are, but if I were him I’d find out.

This is the answer. He'll basically be in a minor league system where he'll receive top notch coaching and play in a much better atmosphere than any MiLB team. He will literally be a god at LSU.

Someone should really let him know this, because it may have slipped his mind to find out where he might be spending the next 3-5 years of his life playing minor league ball.

In order from lowest to highest level:
- Phoenix area for the complex team
- Helena, MT for the non-complex Rookie level
- Appelton, WI for the full season Low A
- Raleigh, NC for High A
- Biloxi, MS for AA
- Colorado Springs, CO for AAA
The top 3 levels may change as soon as next year though.

Is there any difference other than competition level with how these leagues operate? I always just found it odd how they idenfied these leagues instead of it just being A, AA, AAA, AAAA, AAAAA.

The complex teams, rookie level teams, and short season A (of which the Brewers do not have a team) don't start their season until after the draft for that year.
Low A is the lowest level of full season ball. There are more rigorous demands on the stadium as the levels increase.
Some Short A teams play in college parks, like the NY-Penn league has teams in WVU and Penn St's stadiums.
Beyond what is required of the stadiums, I'm not sure of the differences. Outside of competition level as already mentioned.
ETA: In the rookie level, there are the complex teams in the Dominican that have eligibility restraints (can't play more than 3 years in that league). Then the complex teams in the states don't play in front of crowds really. In Florida they all play at noon local. In Arizona they play at night. Some of them are played on back fields instead of in an actual stadium.

Starting to come out on Twitter that he’s signed. Don’t know how reliable some of them are though.

Every person in the world knows he is signing.

Brice Turang has agreed to terms with the #Brewers.
I have not seen what the bonus amount is yet, but it looks like the Brewers will indeed sign their #1 pick.
