I think it's a little column A a little column B. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cards thought of Kramer as someone who can potentially be on the 40 man someday but ultimately he went in a high round because that meant they could underpay and save some slot room

Maybe so. Not bashing the kid. He's a prime example of a guy, in my opinion, who was drafted way above his talent for financial reasons.

I believe the deadline is 4 pm CT to sign Brice but with the rest of Milwaukee's list of players to sign I would think something needs to be decided in the am or at least noon.

I haven't been able to confirm this, so TIFWIW, but word through the grapevine is that Turang was on campus with CPM Monday afternoon.

If he was, it could be nothing more than him stopping in and talking to the coaches about where things stand, and CPM giving him his final pitch as to how college can help him. But I don't think he would show up if he weren't atleast still considering LSU.

Then that about settles it. Unless he was there with the other coaches and not CPM. Like I said, just something that was heard. Nothing definitive.

I could see him calling Mainieri Monday and discussing future plans but Mainieri’s not flying to BR to meet Brice and then fly back. Brice is in his hometown.

I really wish you would have just kept this to yourself. I've done a good job so far of tempering expectations.
ETA: Other posters fixed it. Expectations are still tempered.
