Seriously, if your premise is that he will continue to need exemplary pen work for us to be successful, it doesn’t speak well to his capacity as a starter.

The premise is no college pitcher is immune to bad outtings.

At this point, I hope he comes to school just to see how all the people that came into this thread being negative go about back tracking on their position 
I just don’t think it’s as cut and dry as most everyone else does. Both sides know what the other has. What do the brewers do at this point? Call him 3 times a day saying...signed yet? Signed yet? There is no negotiation, there is no wiggle room, there are no head games. The money is what it is and there isn’t going to be any more. It’s completely pointless to not have already signed if that’s what he’s going to do.

And I'm going to go back and quote them all. Not the ones who said they didn't think he would sign (i didn't think there was much of a chance either), but rather the ones who took the time to post and let everybody know how dumb they were because there was 0% chance he was ever coming.
