However, I disagree that LSU has a great chance of making a BCS game with two losses if they lose to Arkansas.
If we lose to Ole Miss and Beat Arky or if we lose to Arky but Arky loses to Miss State...then we would be 10-2 and Arky 9-3.
If it came down to Bama, LSU, and Arky all at 10-2, then I think Bama is in the best shape and I don't know between LSU and Arky

There is no way in hell SC goes to the Sugar even if beating AU in the SEC champ game.
Should I respond to this?

That is where the BCS flaw is. Respond to it if you want. SEC champ auto bid blah, blah. Joke of a game that will be.

Auburn loses to Bama, then LSU beat Bama.
Auburn loses to USC, then they lost the last game of the season.
It is better to be playing good at the end of the season then to finish with a whimper.
Your arrogance pisses me off. I have never seen so many people just give up on LSU's national title hopes when it can still happen.

Don't know if you would be able to argue with such sound logic from Sarge

Does a 2 loss LSU make it to a BCS game?
I assume Auburn must win out?
Second, the Rose Bowl is my dream. Is Stanford not a lock for the Rose if they are top 15? What senario must happen for LSU to go to Rose?
Edit: Just saw the 2 loss senario above. Still have questions on Rose.
BTW Thanks LSUMATT

Didn't I explicitly state that LSU could win the National Title? In fact, I think I was berated in 2007 in this thread fir saying LSU had a shot post Arkansas game. But I am not gonna say things like..."yeah we can lose to Ole Miss and Arky and we are still a lock for the National Title"

I think you take it to the extreme. There is a considerable possibility if one of the two AQ teams loses that LSU could make the National Title game.
No one has played a tougher schedule. The computers love us. The gap is shrinking in the human polls. It just bothers me that you are propagting this idea that a massive amount of things need to happen when they don't. LSU wins out and one of the top two lose and it is there for the taking.

So who does make the game if TCU, Boise, Auburn, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and the Big12 champ all lose again?
A 2 loss Big East team?
whoever the polls guys want to push up there. I just do not see them putting a team that was not even in its conference CCG, especially if one of the participants in the CCG beat that team.

Show me the top 6 of your final human poll rankings and their record and I will use real math and logic to break it down for you. I have been the biggest optimist on this site regarding a National Title for the last 5 years, but I should be banned if I used my reputation and stickied thread to make up things like 11-1 LSU will easily pass undefeated TCU.

1. Oregon 12-0
2. Boise St. 12-0
3. LSU 11-1
4. Auburn 12-1
5. TCU 12-0
6. Wisconsin 11-1
Sorry I was thinking pre Conference Championship.
I never said it was going to be easily done in regards to TCU. I just said it is going to happen.

That is ludicrous on so many levels. I don't even know where to start.
Almost every voter has TCU and Boise above LSU right now...those teams are 2.5 spots above LSU in the human polls. To think LSU jumps that high for beating Arkansas and the proceeding to not win their conference is crazy.
Even if 50+% of voters put LSU over TCU, LSU would still be way behind TCU. Some of the other 49% of voters would have Wisconsin, Auburn, 1-loss Nebraska, 1-loss Stanford, 1-loss Ohio State etc. above LSU. And some would have TCU over Boise creating a bigger wedge.

You sure love the BJ references...Guys sucking off other guys must be on your mind a lot.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

after someone is preaching logic and sense, what a comeback....got me there. I am just laughing at your "holier than thou" attitude when someone has an opinion about the future BCS predictions.

Not to mention that Auburn trailing LSU in the human polls when they own the head-to-head victory, and human poll voters are instructed to consider that heavily when ranking teams...

lsumatt ,
Great job as always.
Here is a LINK that is really more predicated with Oregon losing. I agree with you that if Auburn wins SEC (even while losing to Bama) they will be ranked higher.
I think if Auburn loses to Bama and to SC that would leave Oregon, TCU and Boise ranked ahead.
If Oregon were to lose that would leave TCU and Boise and I dont think the voters want them to play each other again. Things will get real interesting for us if Nevada were able to pull off upset against Boise.
But based on the article attached above, and on TCU looking sluggish and Utah and Oregon St (TCU's toughest opponents) losing this past weekend, how do the computers still keep TCU ranked ahead of LSU considering LSU wins out?
