Solid recruiting here the last 2 years.

Roster for next year looks like this assuming everyone comes back:

Jakori Savage 6-5, 317, SO
Austin Deculus 6-5, 324, SO
Garrette Brumfield 6-3, 299, SR
Donavaughn Campbell 6-4, 343, JR
Toby Weathersby 6-5, 308, SR
Edward Ingram 6-4, 314, SO
Saahdiq Charles 6-5, 321, SO
Adrian Magee 6-5, 323, JR
William Clapp 6-5, 314, SR
Lloyd Cushenberry 6-4, 316, SO
Cole Smith 6-4 275 FR
Badara Traore 6-6 310 JR
Cameron Wire 6-6 275 FR
Damien Lewis 6-3 320 JR

We are going to be at least 2 deep at every position for the first time since maybe 2011. Going to have some real position battles as well in spring training and fall camp.

Depth Chart:

LT
Badara Traore JR
Jakori Savage SO
Cameron Wire FR

LG
Saahdiq Charles SO
Garrett Brumfield SR
Donavaughn Campbell JR

C
William Clapp SR
Lloyd Cushenberry SO
Cole Smith - FR

RG
Damien Lewis JR
Edward Ingram SO
Adrian Magee JR

RT
Toby Weathersby SR
Austin Deculus SO

We will likely redshirt both Wire and Smith. Probably have some great battles in camp for the 2 Guard spots and potentially the Right Tackle should Weathersby go pro.

Future is bright here as well with 3 Sophomores who may actually win the position battles.

Lewis will be the back up to Ingram.

Can’t slow Ingram’s development by taking him off the field.

Sleeping on Sahdiq. I’ll put my money on him at LT and Badara at RT.

Its kinda crazy how quickly we turned this around from a huge weakness to potentially our 2nd strongest unit behind the DBs. Literally 9 of those guys could start a game for us on merit alone...not even counting injuries.

Coach Eaux will load up the Offensive line in the 2019 Recruiting class as well.

Major props to the coaching staff:

1. for developing the freshmen this season when we needed them to play for various reasons

2. for doing what they had to do via recruiting to give us immediate depth and starting potential

#2 cannot be overstated. We needed guys who could come in and play NOW, plus we got a couple of guys who can RS to give us depth down the road. Nice plan. Well executed.

Brumfield was one of our best and most consistent lineman. Sure he starts if he comes back.

Do you think with so much depth there could be a rotation?

Of course. That's what depth means.

Guys who get tired or slightly injured can sit a little knowing the next guy will take care of business.

We were SO DAMN LUCKY that we didn't have any glaring injury problems the second half of the season. Hell, our OL got some push against the Gumps - something we haven't seen for a while.

I am so stoked for 2018!

Charles is very good. If Traore takes the LT spot like alot are saying, Charles slides into RT easily.

We’ve got 4 guys that could start at fire and 3 at tackle. Plus 2 at center. Good stuff

This looks fricking nice. Especially if Charles and Traore can handle great to elite pass rushers. Imagine if Guice came back....

I think Traore will be at left tackle and Charles at right tackle but that’s a solid lineup either way. Crazy to think Magee and Campbell could be third string; I think both could be solid starters. Depth at guard is excellent.

I am pretty sure Donovan Campbell redshirted this year so would be a Sophomore on the depth chart. Would be a stud if can stay healthy.
