Citrus goes to the top team not in the playoffs. That won't be us.

Then there's a group of six bowls that get SEC teams. This year those are Reliaquest, Gator, Music City, Texas, Liberty, and Mayo.

Then there's two more bowls with SEC tie ins if there are teams left after the group of six gets filled. Those are the Gaspirlla and Birmingham bowls.

There's only 10 bowl eligible SEC teams this year*

I'm assuming 6 are going to the playoffs

Next team up goes Citrus

Seems like us, Missouri and Tennessee will be placed in the group of six bowls. I don't know if there's a "pecking order" for those 6, but only 3 will be used

*I'm assuming right now the 5-7 teams won't get in, unless there's some mass declining of bowl invites out there

Would not mind a Nebraska matchup in a game with no real meaning
Haven't played them in awhile

And we have never beaten them, just had the tie back in the 70's. Very much would love for LSU to get some revenge!

I am originally from Memphis and I can tell you the Liberty bowl game would suck.
Stadium is rinky dink and the town doesn’t have as much nightlife.
Nashville would be a better stadium and tourist destination.

No fricking way

I think playoffs: UGA, A&M, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Bama (maybe not if they lose big).

Then Vandy (slight chance at playoffs if Bama gets smoked), Texas, Tennessee, LSU. In that order.

Odds are the Liberty. I'd love them to be in Nashville but they are a win or two short.

I saw a few predicting us against either Nebraska or Louisville. I'd rather take our chances against the Huskers this year.

ESPN projects LSU vs Nebraska in Liberty Bowl.

I personally would love this! As a kid in the '80's, I remember Nebraska skull-dragging us in the Sugar Bowl in '84/'86 and losing a heartbreaker in the '82 (season) Orange Bowl. LSU has NEVER beaten Nebraska, so I'd love a shot at this.
