These threads need to stop!!! They are mucking up the board.

I consider myself a "positiger" and pro O but even I am getting annoyed with these threads. Its been noted that O is doing good things with program and the negativity has subsided drastically...

So what are you trying to prove? Are you just warmongering?

. I said he would be a good third choice

I wasn't thrilled with the hire. I went outside and sky screamed for about an hour or so then I climbed on board and started looking at things in an objective manner.

The main issue I have with the negas was none of them could look at the offseason changes and admit that O appeared to be doing the right things.

It was apparent that there was nothing that he could do that would be good enough.

Anything positive about the team or coaches was immediately shouted down by the negas and the messenger ridiculed and insulted.

So several of you in this thread have displayed atrocious behavior for absolutely no reason whatsoever towards other posters and you don't understand why we can't all just get along.

So what's the point of continuously bringing it back up every day? You think that's helping matters?

You guys say you want us all to get along but you go reopening the wounds every day.

My standard for Lsu is a 10 win program. Anything less is unacceptable. O is on track to getting Lsu back to a 10 win perform and hopefully in some years a run at a natty.

And fwiw I was very Against the hire. I was pro fisher. I still don’t know if O can get Lsu a natty. But I do think he can get Lsu to a 10 win program and that’s the expectation

I don't know what the answer is. Asking a nega to not be a shithead is like asking the desert not to be hot.

I'd like to see more objectivity and less viciousness but I highly doubt that'll ever happen.

I acknowledged and acknowledge a number of those good things. Namely getting Burrow and his concerted effort to modernize the staff by hiring analysts. I also thought and still think Cregg was a great hire.

I stand by my prediction of 8-10 wins this year and my general stance on the future of the program under O. Never thought we would suddenly crash and burn. Quite the opposite, I figured we’d have 2 maybe 3 solid to good years under O before things start to slowly decline because of assistant coach attrition. That said, I predicted a close loss to Auburn, so I was objectively wrong in that sense.

But leave it to “true fans” to get hung up on calling out people who were “wrong” rather than focusing on these major early season victories. Geaux Tigers.

All of this. And 10 wins gets him another year. It's an above average year compared to recent standards. It isn't a once in a lifetime, awesome year. Anything less than 10 wins is a problem.

Still want Alleva gone regardless of the record.

Why I wanted Fisher. O
Will only be as good as his assistants . At least with a fisher or some coach similar you will have continuity on one side of the ball . We do theoretically with Aranda ..but that’s only til some program Wants him as their head coach

I will say again what I have said since the hire. I didn’t like the hire. I think JA got his feelings hurt and overreacted and jump the gun hiring Orgeron so quickly. I didn’t think his resume merited the LSU job. None this means I don’t support him and I had and still have some doubts. That being said the man is doing a bang up jump currently. Just because I had my doubts doesn’t mean I don’t support him and hope he is successful. I want what is best for LSU football and that is that whoever is the head coach be successful.

No one is being negative, except in these threads that people like you start for some reason.

You just don't know what to do when there's harmony on the board so you guys are trying to pick a fight with people.

Miles had been here for years and had leveled off at 9 wins....there's a difference. He was fired for starting 2-2 and looking like he was headed for another 8/9 win season. His teams were stale and they didn't seem to play hard for him anymore.

If Jimbo or Herman had come in and posted 9-4 their first full season you guys would have been beating your meat on a toilet seat.
You just don't like the process or lack there of that LSU went thru to get O. That what really peeves you.

Thinking Orgeron "appeared to be doing the right things" before a ball was ever snapped wasn't being objective at all. It was an opinion, just like every other positive or negative comment said during the offseason.

Basically, you're just saying you have an issue with everyone who disagrees with you. And you're not the only one, which is why threads like this are generally divisive.

And since Auburn, I've seen very few complaints outside of these threads begging for approval for Orgeron.

Right.

It's basically either think like me or you're being a bad fan or being negative. Fricking childish.
