That said, Myles Jack is the most versatile player in college football right now. And I doubt he wins it. But the award goes to the most versatile player in college football right? Kid was offensive and defensive freshman of the year in the Pac... Had 71 tackles, 10 passes broken up, 1 INT, 5 TFL on D. And 37 carries for 267 yards (7.2 YPC) and 7 TDs in just 4 games.

You must have left some stats out for him to have earned PAC FOY on both sides of the ball. From what you've shown, he just played at RB a few gaes and did well while starting on the defense.

To me, OBjr is just as versatile since he is a special teams stand out and has plenty of yards on the ground with end arounds to go along with his receiving. Heck, he even had a field goal returned for 6 before it was made fashionable by Au last week.

I guess that I am just trying to stick up for our guy here but unless that freshman has more offensive stats than you've stated, he isn't really all that much more versatile than OBjr. I am sure that The Chief could find a spot in the secondary for him if they valued this award great enough so it isn't like he couldn't do it. he just was not needed to do it at LSU even with this year's defensive issues.
