He took a swing at OBJ, and body slammed him on the first offensive play in front of a Ref.

In short, he instigated and set the tone from the first play, and wasn't flagged.

Be honest, if Beckham hadn't played for LSU would your defense of him be so ardent ?

No, it all started on the first play, and Norman instigated it.

You guys are mis-interpreting my comments. I'm not defending him. He showed emotional immaturity at best, and made the rookie mistake of letting an opponent take him out of his "game" by getting angry.

I'm saying the Refs could have and should have ended this between Norman and Beckham when it started, and they didn't.

I have some thug in me I can't lie but what you are seeing now is a mental issue. Norman was putting him on his arse for it 2.

Norman inadvertently took him out of the game.

I don't think he was thinking that was what he was doing but that's what happened.

Looks like OBJ will be suspended for one game.

There isn't the same media coverage on Wallace 72 for the Steelers, and a penalty was called but suspension for him as well? That's a lineman launching himself helmet to helmet on a db after the play is over.

Game speed at about .36 replay at about .45

You don't get suspended for late hits.

It's helmet to helmet, and it IS similar to OBJ's helmet to helmet on Norman that he is suspended one game for.

Pretty sure they make an exception when you launch yourself at a defenseless player with the intent to hurt him, especially a head injury.

OBJ acted like a classless POS yesterday and was an embarrassment to LSU. Though the people that blindly defend him because he played for LSU are no matter.

All this coming from a graduate of LSU

As someone who has been riding Beckham all year in my fantasy league, I sure hope they don't suspend him lol. In all seriousness though, I don't think he'll be suspended but will get a huge fine. If it had only been him doing this crap maybe a suspension, but Norman was giving too, and got 2 personal fouls as well.

I was talking about the Steelers player.

He wasn't an embarrassment to LSU, he might have been an embarrassment to himself, nothing else though.

We know we know ur sitting up on ur throne casting stones. Cast on cast on. They got what they wanted and thats for idiots like you to come on here and talk. Are you not entertained? Let me guess you and Bill love those participation trophies and advocate playing flag football until you are 15 right? Johnson and Finnegan, Rison and Sanders! Now OBJ and Norman! I say again are you not entertained?

So should he write a letter to you apologizing? Should he write one to the student body? Now when he makes All Pro and probably the HOF don't claim him bc remember he is an embarrassment and a POS.

Not in the least. By the time it was over, I was embarrassed for him. Your whole argument seems to be that it's all part of the game and just being competitive. It's really not either.

I never said obj didn't act like an arse. Of course he did. The point was, it takes two. It wasn't just one person acting like an arse.

Wallace should be fined and/or suspended, but he's not on the Madden cover either so of course not as much coverage

Look, I know you're a racist piece of shite and all, but at least realize he made himself look stupid... fan or not, objectively or not, he (and Norman) were more worried about swinging at each other than playing the game.

And the NFL has become pussified in recent years. But what they were doing wasn't playing football.
