Brantley's effect will be minimum

His first time playing in a hostile environment none the less tiger stadium..i say he makes some mistakes and turns the ball over and the defense scores us some points.

Not Good. Not Good. Hell toss out Tulane and La Tech and I do not like our chances for rest of season Unless a different team and coaching staff shows up.

If we play like we have I would probably put it around 33%. Chance to beat UGA, but the past few games won't cut it against UF. Tebow isn't as much of a factor as that defense is.

If we play to potential and STICK with an offense I say slightly over 50%

15%.

40% chance this weekend then a 20% chance the weekend after sooooooo someone do my math

That gives a 52% chance of winning at least one of the two games.

Correct. Here's why, for the math curious:

Calculate the chance that LSU loses both games. You say that the chance we lose at UGA is 60% and the chance we lose to the Gators is 80%. Eighty percent of 60% is 48%. So, if the chance that we lose both games is 48%, then the chance that we win at least one is 52%.

I say 25% we lose both, 60% we win one, and 15% we win both.

BTW, with my P&G glasses, I say 100% that we win one.

They key is keeping that offense off the field, similar to what we did in 2007 against them.

That was not the key in 2007. You got lucky on 5 of 5 4th down plays. Take away one of those and you lose. Our offense scored 24 points.

i think there is shot especially if we can get take aways in Georgia. only edge we have in next week's game is its at night at home.

50/50 against UGA
30/70 against Florida.

I think we have a complete mismatch against florida and the only thing that keeps us in the game is that its a night game and majical things have happened at night in baton rouge.

The Georgia game is about 50/50 for me and the Florida game is about 30/70.... so the chances we win one of these is somewhere between 50 and 70%

Thats why you play the games. You don't think USC gets lucky from time to time? new england gets lucky from time to time?

you all got lucky a good bit in 2006. I bet you didn't bitch about the hardware and said "we got lucky"

I totally agree - You take'em when you get'em. I just said that you did not win the game in 2007 because you kept the offense off the field -that is simply wrong.

Luck plays into EVERY national championship. Our 2006 (blocked Field goals, key losses by others late in the year) and your 2007 (2-losses, but at the right time) are perfect examples.

amen. a win is a win from here on out for both florida and lsu minus the rent a wins. I think Brantley coming in will present us some major issues. Thoughts on him coming infront of a hostile crowd for the 1st time?

Likelihood of winning the Georgia game: 60-70%

Likelihood of winning against Florida if we beat Georgia and Tebow sits: 80%

If Tebow plays and we beat Georgia: 35-40%

If we lose to Georgia and Tebow plays or not: 75%

Likelihood Tim Tebow has latent homosexual tendencies: 99.3%

This is Brantley's third year. He has been around the program for a while but is untested when the game is on the line. The night crowd will give you the edge for sure. You have won something like 22 night games in a row. Will he get flustered and throw pics? Will we be able to execute a simplified game plan? Honestly, I think he'll hang in there and which ever team wins the turnover battle wins the game. That is basically saying that if Brantley doesn't throw pics means he's handled the pressure which will mean a positive result for us.

Chris Leak won in 03 as a true freshman at Tiger Stadium, but that was a afternoon kick-off, my first game at your place. I will be driving down with my wife for the game. We are pumped to get into the crowd and see what happens. I have always had a good time with y'all.

70% chance on Georgia. Hell, They could be 0-4 right now. They have their own issues, specifically a weak secondary and we are gonna pass more. I like our chances.

50% Florida. It is Saturday Night in Death Valley and they kick our butt last year. If we beat Georgia, I like our chances. If we lose, some of the guys may fold their tent and mail it in.
