I mean I can bash you if you’d like.

Just stating facts and opening up the floor for debate because this is one of the biggest questions we have on this team.

Where has someone said that they think Milazzo will hit .250?

He hit .100 during fall ball, but he is an elite defensive catcher (no, he isn't).

Radio and LSU personnel have said if he hits .250 then that’s a win with his catching abilities.

I think Project's point is that if Neal can catch as well as Milazzo and hit .300, then he will obviously take over. Otherwise, both will play depending on a number of different things. We all know Milazzo isn't a great hitter, this isn't new info that you are telling everyone.

You think one of the biggest questions on the team is which of those two players will catch when it's already been stated multiple times that the answer is both plus other guys.

Agreed. And in the spring Neal as just been as good as Milazzo behind the plate. The kid was a top 50 player. Event if he hits .250 and Alex is at .100 then you take Neal all 3 weekend days I think.

Both are going to play regardless because it's catcher and you absolutely need multiple guys to play every week, especially if you expect to be playing baseball well into June.

Yes. How often will each catch? Will Neal struggle on defense. Will Jones or Hayden catch any? Will one get stale hitting cause they play only one day a week. Does Alex actually hit and produce?

Yes.

Milazzo caught all 3 games in 2020-2021 for 5 of 10 SEC series.

Yeah, and has since struggled with injuries.

Also, thanks for proving my point that both catchers will play by saying that one guy only caught an entire weekend for 50% of the conference series.

I don't know who will be the primary catcher in the post season. I'm just glad Milazzo is on this team. It allows Neal time to adjust without the pressure of being thrown into the fire.

We have some very talented freshmen on this team and it is anyone's guess when they will adjust to SEC baseball.

Not here to bash a kid. But if Neal is as good or just below him defensively and hits .300 then what say you?

That Neal will be an all American and first round draft pick....? You just described about as well rounded of a catcher as you can possibly get at the college level
