Alleva "floated" the story? Have you actually read any of the stories. BOS members have been quoted talking to the media.

Alleva will take the bullet publicly for the money guys who wanted this to happen. So Alleva has basically given himself some significant job security by protecting the folks who decide whether he has a job or not. Sort of like Goodell with the NFL owners.

Odd feeling

That's not an odd feeling. It's called hope....something you haven't felt in a long time.

Job security my arse. Alleva will be next on the hit list.

And Scott Woodward - Athletic Director at University of Washington will take his place. This will happen since we now have a Democratic governor. Book mark this.

Nobody said this was gonna be pretty. The national media is a joke. They trash miles for years and now they are his biggest fans.

Alleva "floated" the story early in the week. There seems to be some major friction with Miles and was this a "warning shot" by Alleva to show Miles who's boss?

What happened to having a conversation in person?

"Les, look, we need to win more SEC games...I support you but the fan base is getting more and more divided and the pressure from TAF to make a change is mounting...

This is an important season relative to your future here at LSU"

That's it

you don't use the media to send a messge to your coach

"I'm boss"

My gosh i hope like heck that isn't how it went down

who would want to work for a snake?

I feel bad for Les having to answer all these questions in front of a mic "Hey Les, I heard you're getting fire, is that true?"

I mean just pretend you're treated that way just by one co-worker let alone a national spot light

Horrible spot for a coach is nothing but class...so far, he is handling it well
