I've said this before, I will say it again, the PMAC court and lighting is too dark.

When I watch any other team play on TV, the HDTV shows a crisp bright and well lit court....it feels more crisp and energetic. Our court feels gloomy on TV...it's almost like half the bulbs are out or something? I don't know...but it's obvious to me something should be done

I know it's critical, but it's true....our court feels dull on TV...

Money needs to be spent on PMAC, court and lighting... they need to hire someone (preferably a coach) with some vision for the program (bigly!)...someone who pushes for big investments to build the program upwards.

Tiger Basketball used to be awesome! Even with the best player in the country last year, 0-1 quick exit in the NCAA tournament. (first trip in 6 seasons) It's embarrassing! (edit, derp! it was the NIT)

You're not buying a q beam in 1989. Commercial lighting intensity is measured in lumens.

PMAC needs more than just lighting. It's an outdated facility, worthy of the quality of teams that play inside. Build a program that makes money, & get a better arena.

It's dark on purpose, so as not to show the upper levels and all the empty seats. Sad, I know.

Me and my friends have been saying this for years. Watching LSU on tv in basketball always looks like a high school production(both in lighting and performance now )

Lumens are a measurement of foot candles but that is besides the point.
I agree with the OP about the court on television.

I thought they were poised for a deep run with Simmons. I was disappointed when we became the first 1 seed ever to lose to a 16. Frustrating as hell.

You want to talk about lighting? That's your big problem with the program? The most asinine thing about this is you mustn't have watched much either. What the truck man?!? Post less please!!!

I couldn't remember...googled it and reference said we were 0-1...I guess it was NIT. LOL

regardless, if I was emotionally connected to this program like I am football, I would know every detail...

They need to bring back Tiger basketball! I grew up on the 80's/90's teams...Dale had the Tigers playing at a high level, PMAC was full and we went to the dance many times...

64 teams get in, and we can't get an invitation we're that bad?

the point about the dim lights are purposeful to hide attendance, well, in business you shine a light on the problem not hide it...so it can be dealt with...

I encourage the AD to take the same approach or find another job

The crowd is too dark also. But I guess they're just trying to hide all the empty seats
