Sure he would! Keep the OC at 600k or go back to TE coach at 175k? Tough choice! Best you’re gonna get is E at OC and maybe, maybe a co-OC but more likely an “analyst” to help with the play action, 10-15 yard slow developing routes, with no quick crossing or combination routes!! Face it this is the O Orgeron wants.

Can’t be said enough. LSU’s unqualified head coach hired an unqualified offensive coordinator and it has all come home to roost for the program.

If he's more worried about his baws than his win/loss record, his arse needs to go.
Personally? I think he'll find a way to replace E tactfully and LSU will have a new OC next year.

This never crossed my mind, but the more I think about it you are probably right. Admin and prob O will chalk this year up to start up curve. That is too bad because if that isn't fixed, O doesn't have a prayer here.
