Yeah I think Woody made a mistake letting him stay till the end of the year. They say they didn't have anyone on staff that was capable of taking over. But I don't see how anyone could do worse, at least you know you be getting the best from that person, where Zero has already checked out of the building.

I heard him on OTB this morning and he was very upbeat and optimistic and very factual. I thought he did a good job and I think he is interim coaching pretty well considering the end is in sight.

Maybe O needs a translator at his media sessions.

Aren’t you still crying about something that has been explained to you over and over by several people as to why he’s still at the helm even though there’s a definitive endpoint?

I’ve said repeatedly that I don’t want him there a second longer but if your hands are tied because he put together such a bad staff, that’s on Ed. There’s no suitable replacement.

You want some young buck on a staff of ‘alphas’ who has never been an interim to do it. If it exacerbates the situation, who cares evidently.

If that’s the case, make me interim. Or you. Or anyone on this board. Would that suffice?

No it hasn't.

You're going by faith here, you have no clue what the hell is going on.

I'll tell you. The coach was fired, but somehow miraculously allowed to finish the season (retarded move)

Some low IQ idiots here claim it's because there isn't anyone to be an interim, which is absolutely false.

So, you're stuck here bitching about O, when he is already fired, but being allowed to run the program? I'm sorry petunia, this is now Woody's show. If it works, kudos. But I'll tell you its not "working."

shite, even Alleva had the balls to finally remove les when it was time.

Apparently the second Ed was officially fired he became immune to all blame for his own program. Heck, before long the Ed pumpers will start blaming Woody for specific play calls lmao

Yes it has by myself and another poster in a different thread yesterday where you were doing the same thing.

And you do? If that’s the case, why are you still pitching a fit about it if you know what’s going on? If you know what’s going on, then calm down and let it happen.

What I’m ‘bitching’ about is how ridiculous he continues to be. Not about him being the head coach because in three weeks, he’s gone.

If you want to kick and scream and stomp your feet at Woodward, have at it. I’m the last person that’ll stand in your way. Keep on doing it. Strange behavior for someone who ‘knows what’s going on.’

I know, you literally cannot put 1 + 1 together.

Had he been fired properly by a man with bigger balls than Woody, you wouldn't have to worry about it.

Don't sweat it, I don't think anyone outside of Louisiana can understand a word he says anyway.

It’s crazy.

And then to keep going on about it, “it should’ve ended three weeks ago. This is an indictment on Woodward. He’s responsible for this nightmare. Stop the madness and the bleeding. AHHHHHH!”

Like it’s the end of the world or something.

When allowed to continue to run the program, you bet.

There's a very easy fix to this, if someone had the balls.

Whatever makes you feel better. Rodge.

I’m not doing this garbage again. Have at it and stomp your feet some more.

You bitch about the coach in a thread where it's been proven to you that the coach is only there because the AD wants him to be.

Then, when called on it, you get all pissy. You can't have it both ways, Jethro.

Ed isn't going to shut his mouth until relieved of duties. You know that, I know that...guess who doesn't know that?

Woodward, apparently

Ed made this bed, he's going to have to sleep in it until the season ends, when he's tossed out on his arse and a real coach comes in to repair the damage he caused. All Woody did was reassure the players and fans that Ed's tenure would soon be over.

What? You mean he hasn't? The way the baws around here make up stuff, someone will take that and run a 54 page thread about it.

Why do you always post with the most arrogant air of superiority like you’re a cut above everyone else on this website and in Louisiana? You live in Prairieville and have 35,000 posts on TD you brokedick trashbag

I'm not surprised you view premiere athletes and their programs as worthy of being led by a dog.

No wonder you fail at everything in life.

If only SW had thought of this when he was firing him. It's amazing how anyone can defend the action to fire midseason and KEEP him as the face of the program

Wrong.

What I said was I wish he’d do ______.

He’s not going to but I said that because this is where people can talk about things like that.

What you’re doing is exactly what you’re accusing me of doing.

When you’re done doing that, nothing is going to change.

That’s the difference between you and I.

I know it and understand it.

You, on the other hand, do it any time Woodward’s name is mentioned. Like if you do it enough, the situation will change.

I’m done talking about this with you.

Pretty simple, really. The fans and players are reassured that Ed's horrendous tenure will soon be over and no assistant has their future opportunities hampered by helming Ed's dumpster of a program for the latter half of the season. Plus Ed's overall record will reflect the actual job he did.
