No interview of Pelini and putting LSU at risk of millions of $ was sign O knew he already won the college HC lottery. Game over.

My favorite O story is how he just pulled a Milton at USC when the previous coaching staff was fired and kept showing up until Pete Carroll arrived and was like who the frick is this guy??

Dude would have been digging ditches again if he had a ride home but tried to sell it as some dedicated employee bit.

Gotta give it to him, the guy sees all the angles. Just not on the field of course

The thing that got me last night is he didnt seem to care or was angry at any point despite that shite show. He just stood there clapping and smiling the entire time....

Is the "sissy blue" incident just cause?

IMO, it is....he disparaged the university on a national stage.

He’s gone after this season. He’s a great recruiter but a terrible coach. If he doesn’t surround himself with good coordinators he’s lost.

He’s in over his head at this point.

I have said since day one he wasn’t the right hire. But sure he gets a little pass because of Burrow , Brady and Aranda, in 2019, BUT it’s crashing down on him now and he is taking the program with him……

Some people make it to the top and they lose their passion. They've done all that they set out to accomplish. Motivation to start all over again from the figurative bottom is gone.

Some people, making it to the top and it only drives them further.

For the Formula 1 fans, looks at Nico Rosberg vs. Lewis Hamilton. Lewis is fighting for his eighth World Championship. Nico Rosberg won a single championship and promptly retired even though he had probably 6+ years left in his career.

O made it to the top and he has been coasting ever since. Nick Saban made it to the top over a decade ago and he'd probably rather die than not compete for another championship.
