It’s not catastrophe syndrome.

I don’t really care. Like I’ve said, I saw 2019. It will never be that good again. I just try to enjoy LSU football.

I’ll watch just as much LSU football with Van Buren as I would with Nuss.

But I’ve seen this play out before. Something is up. Again, I don’t care. I’m just not naive enough to believe that they tell us half of what’s going on behind the scenes. So if they are giving us this, rest assured there is more.

Media is allowed to film the first 15 min of practice tomorrow.

In what scenario in your mind would it benefit Brian Kelly to lie today about Nuss’ status?

“It’s worse than they’re saying”

“He won’t finish the season”

I can’t tell if people are serious or if we have that many retards in our fan base.

Nuss had knee surgery at the end of 2023 season. Whenever he reaggravates it…he ends up with Tendinitis.

I’m sure he played with it last season.

They all play with pain they’re football players.

The CATASTROPHE SYNDROME IS ALIVE!

I’ve got to find another board to follow.

The scenario in which the injury is not bad enough that he can’t disguise it temporarily and conceal any info possible before Clemson.

Or a situation in which medical personnel are split on the severity and he will actually know more closer to 8/31.

Again, I don’t care. Truly. I’m at the age where LSU could go 3-9 and it wouldn’t affect my well being. I’d enjoy seeing what their next move is and it would suck the life out of some weeks, but I’m still going to watch.

There are a few reasons for Kelly to play this close to the vest. It’s worth nothing, but my general thought is that closer to week 1 there’s going to be more information come out and this will be worse than we currently think.

Sounds eerily reminiscent of Chris Hilton situation a year ago

It will linger, but I would imagine it will be more troublesome during the week when he feels it. They'll have to manage it throughout the season. I'd imagine he'll get shot up before each game.

No way in hell this doesn't continue to get worse throughout the season.

Once again. The media will be there filming practice.

Tomorrow.

Yet you have concocted a scenario with a season threatening injury that between yesterday and today would be able to be concealed enough to not give a hint to Clemson that anything was wrong.

A knee injury that can threaten the season but be concealed in 48 hours.

And you say “it’s not catastrophe syndrome”

BK was extremely straightforward that Nuss had surgery in ‘23 and he re-aggravated mildly at practice.

Not everything is a grand conspiracy

Catastrophe syndrome implies that I think things are going to hell in a hand basket and there’s nothing we can do.

I’m giving a worthless opinion on a message board. I think this is worse than they are letting on.

I don’t care either way. Having one opinion that isn’t optimistic does not equal catastrophizing.

I was thinking bpc-157, but yeah, same idea.

Of course, research peptides are banned, but I personally think this a bit of overreach. They help with recovery and injuries, not with direct performance/strength enhancement like anabolic steroids. I'm not sure they currently test for it either (very specialized testing is required)... not that I'm actually suggesting he try this...

Assuming the worst with absolutely no logical basis seems like catastrophe syndrome to me

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a brace all year. He can play with this injury but will be susceptible to a more serious injury if he takes a hit to that knee.

It seems that you actually can’t if you’re still equating me thinking that the staff is withholding info (as they should) with catastrophe.

So again, as you requested, I don’t give a shite.
