No one is saying that wide receivers dropping passes is JD’s fault.

Did you skip TD the last week? Tons people blamed JD for the drops bc the passes weren’t perfect despite hitting people in the hands. There were multiple threads criticizing JD for ‘missing’ on the PI call where the WR was pulled from being in position. He was blamed for the drop on the sideline when the WR got hit in the numbers bc the pass should have hit him on the run. Sure the passes aren’t perfect but JD has absolutely been getting blamed for the drops.

The down votes would suggest that some are not a fan of this sort of QB play

Love how the Nuss Busser are all saying: "Remember when Jared threw it over a mountain!"

You know people can say JD under threw a ball and that the WR should have made the catch right? Both of those things can be true.

Just about every pass Nuss threw was on time with good ball placement. He is going to be great.

I'm not black, and I abhor the SPLC. I do however call it like I see it, but I didn't day anything about race and you just outed your true feelings on Daniels by bring up race.

Yeah a line drive "fade".

No way he executes that against a D-1 school.

I thought that was a very good decision and throw. Not sure if they planned it at the LOS or it was improvised. But it was essentially a fade until he just threw a dart right at the WR with the DB turned around expecting the fade. Very similar to a backshoulder throw. That will fool and work against anyone in the country if the WR sells the fade well.

So if someone who points out racism is racist, doesn’t that make you a racist for pointing out how they are being racist for pointing out racism?

not going to waste time replying to the JD knob-gobblers.

JD is an average-at-best passer, less-than-average decision maker, and much better-than-average runner.

Solidly middle of the road SEC QB for sure. Better than our worst examples over our lean years in the past 20 years.

What I have seen of Nuss is that he is solidly better than JD on passing and at least even on decisions, not nearly as good a runner. However, there is just too little info to make better judgements. I have seen him routinely make throws that JD can only dream of making.

What I dont get is that JD is a 5th year senior with four years of starting qb experience behind him - he is what he is and I see no hope for significant improvement. Nuss has had only limited exposure and may or may not exceed what he seems capable of doing.

I have liked what BK has done with the team for the most part, and have to trust his judgement on the most important decision of any head coach. I have to believe he is seeing someone in practice or detailed film study of games that escape our limited one-time, real-time impressions.

That is cute, but Daniels won't attempt that pass against a team with a pulse. He would rather take sacks on 4th down, miss wide open guys, and throw at the LOS, while not scoring touchdowns. Should be a fun season.
