Mett year 2
Burrow year 2
Daniels year 2

Nuss year 2? Let's ride.

He's not been without his flaws this year but we're now returning a veteran experienced quarterback who's going to have thrown for 4,000 yards and 30TD in his first season as an SEC starter.

Looking forward to seeing Nuss' second season starting and seeing how it compares to a couple of others...

Great, wonder how many times the "gunslinger" is gonna cost this team games.

Yeah because players have never improved especially QBs after a year of experience under their belt. STFU.

The receipts part in it got me excited. You know a guy like Nuss is going to do everything he can over the offseason to make that jump and I genuinely cannot wait

Anybody else felt like his injury against OU was his “Joe Burrow vs UCF” moment?

No.

The moment that made Burrow great was the moment LSU hired Joe Brady. Had Brady not been hired Burrow would have been a solid QB in 2019, maybe even one of the better QBs in the SEC, but he wouldn't have had an unbelievable season if 2019 was just a continuation of Ensminger's offensive approach.

That aside, Nussmier returning is great news for LSU. The guy finished the regular season 6th in the nation in passing yards...ahead of every QB on every CFP team. No, he wasn't perfect by any means. But that is a pretty good spot to build from going into his second year as a starting QB.

While he has his flaws, this is big time to have a QB with SEC experience. There also isn't a ton of major talent in the portal right now at QB that are reason targets. If he really dedicates time to film and understand his ability to take what is given to him by stepping into the pocket or scrambling, his arm talent will shine. (A balanced rush attack also helps tremendously)Also, I assume he has graduated already, which means he will have more time for film. Both burrow and Daniels benefitted in their 2nd year with less time in class and more time in the film room.

Those that didn't want him back were morons. It quite possible he can make a big jump in year #2 as a starter.

Now he has a season of film & an in house evaluation available to his disposal so that he can spend his offseason working on the flaws in his game.

For SEC DC’s, sure. For LSU? I guess if you like 8-4.

And who would we get that would do any better? No one on the bench. That’s for sure.

Really?

He got up from a cheap shot & completed 19/28 of his passes for almost 400 yards & 4 TDs in that game…. But yeah he became great next year with Joe Brady
