Nuss could definitely be on this list, but the fact of the matter is, we don’t know because he hasn’t really played much. It’s obvious that this lists values experience a ton. Not anything worth getting upset about imo

25 is a guy with one start too. And Allar is a one year starter who was JJ McCarthy without the running game and he's 7.

I totally agree. I think he has some talent, but I would never want him on my team. When you think it's more important to be in a fashion show than to be at a team meeting, you're not the kind of leader I want on my team. I know daddy approved it, but he could have easily turned it down. I also think daddy's a joke of a coach, also!

Yeah but Nico is a 5 star highly ranked QB. It would make sense that he is ranked a few spots ahead of Nuss. And I don’t think Allan is good, but comparing him to JJ helps his case considering JJ just won a Natty and is a projected 1st round pick.

I mean, on one hand this stupid list isn't worth getting upset about. It's mid-March clickbait.
On the other hand, they have a guy ranked 7th on this list and the announcers during his last game were talking about how he needed to do a better job and Penn State needed to maybe look at another quarterback during the spring.

Just say you’ve never watched him play

I did

Then you saw him come in as a backup, and start exactly one game, a bowl game where he was 31-45 for 395 yards, 3 TD's and 1 INT leading his team to a victory.

You've never seen this kid with a full off season and the same coach, same system, same OL and familiar WR to work with. He's gonna light it the F up this year

So. There's highly rated 5 stars a bunch of places. Miller McCoy has as much qualification to be at 25 as Nico.

Because of the running game so being JJ without the running game is not good at all.

One never knows. Athlon had Joey B at #28 heading into 2019....

Heisman odds I saw had Nussmeier 3rd (IMO a bit high but still). Beck (GA) #1 and Ewers (TX) #2. OK, just checked vegasinsider site and they have Nussmeier tied for 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Who is Miller McCoy?

Penn St had a better rush offense than Michigan did last year.

Obviously, but if gives credence to why that person would be ranked as a top 10 player at their position.

My bad, Miller Moss. The dude that randomly threw 6 TDs for USC in the bowl game and ran off a QB ranked higher than Nico in his recruiting class.

Has Nico shown more on the field than Nuss at this point? Being a 5 star doesn’t have anything to do with it. Nuss has definitely shown in the limited playing time and against Wisconsin that he is a top 10 talented QB. The dude threw dimes all over the field like he’s done it for years.

You're splitting hairs. Nuss and Moss were both mentioned. They are all within 5 spots of each other.

Ah so you are adding qualifiers. You are saying Penn State has no run game because they ran for less yards in the head to head game?

Neither was Joey B in 2019 and no one thought Jayden was going to move to Heisman contender along with being a top 5 draft pick next month.

Really don’t care about preseason hype. Hopefully it puts a chip on his shoulder and he balls out.

honorable mention...Miller Moss (USC)

I was ready to pounce, fully expecting Moss to be over-hyped & high on this list based on one, admittedly, impressive bowl game, while leaving Nuss off the list, after an equally impressive outing.

So kudos to them for being consistent.

Offense is going to shine. I like when LSU is a dog, we usually rise way above it.

KJ Jefferson over Nuss? Who in their right mind would choose KJ over Nuss? Nuss has done more in his limited playing time than KJ has done in years as a starter

This dude is hot garbage. If he's top 20 then Nuss is easily top 20.
