Has anyone burned a car that had the words “kill Nuss” on it?

I wanted nussmeier benched earlier in the year. When I saw him crying on the sideline like a woman at Vanderbilt, I wanted his soft arse gone from this program. No room for that chickenshit.

Which was a dumb reason to “hate” a freshman QB who wasn’t slated as the original starter. He won the job by beating Auburn in a comeback and the offense actually scored enough points with him at QB on average he just threw picks like most freshman back then. The D sucked too but that was ignored so that we could hate the QB.

I didn't read the entire thread, so I'm sure he's already mentioned, but there is this little guy by the name of Josh Booty, who ended up being an all-SEC quarterback. How the majority of the LSU fanbase treated him during his time in Baton Rouge was shameful. Nuss didn't receive near the heat that Josh received. It's not even close.

Nuss is more hated. Booty wasn’t well liked in the locker room unlike Nuss and that was talked about a lot on radio but the fans were 50/50 on him.

You're not even close to being correct. Howard, Jefferson, and Booty were all hated more Nuss.

Nuss literaly can’t make a single throw he does nothing well those guys were 10x the QB Nuss is this year

You're the one with memory loss issues.

Anthony Jennings is one of the worst SEC quarterbacks of the 21st century. Brandon Harris was horrendous and couldn't throw anything but a go ball, and those weren't particularly good either. Etling was bad.

Go look at box scores and watch some of those games.

Those guys make Nuss look like the #1 overall pick.

I can’t wait for Nuss to kill it in the NFL to show everyone it’s coaching

I mean, I hope Nuss makes a team in the NFL and does well, I really do.

And to say the injuries have not hindered him would be a foolish thing to say.

But the poor decision making and lack of vision downfield for a QB of his experience cannot be ignored. And for the son of a coach it's very hard to understand.

I have to laugh each time I see that Canes commercial with him in it where Cooper says to him "your dad says you're not good at decision making so he put your order in for you already" - makes me chuckle - seem to be prophetic.

Those one yard gain passes or 3 yard loss when a block is missed have been maddening! At this point, whatever confidence Nuss had is gone, I don't think he has any further ability to lead us to a win. l will not condemn him as a person and he was an LSU Tiger for 5 years, but going forward, it is time for him to take a seat and we need to see if Van Buren has the tools to be a starter next year.

Where did that go? Why does he look not only worse than last year, but hes not even a gunslinger? I mean, hes throwing check downs ON EVERY SINGLE PLAY. He's avoiding guys WIDE open, he refuses to do the basics like, stepping up into the pocket making our offensive line looking even worse, and he STILL refuses to run and take easy yards.

IMO, it’s a mental issue. Call it “gun shy,” “indecisive,” “afraid,” lingering issues from an injury . . . it’s basically the “yips”.
Only he can fix it and I don’t think he knows how. As a former QB, unless and until he gets it figured out, he needs to take some time to figure it out away from the field and the noise
