You’re blaming Nuss because he doesn’t hasn’t lived up to your expectations. Nuss is a good ball player. Your disappointment results from the error in your expectations. Happens to investors, analysts, sportswriters all the time. Don’t blame the stock market or the ball player, the error is in your forecasting abilities. Nobody is right about the future all the time.

My grandfather also didn't get paid over 2M to do it.
His entire generation were considered adults at 18, as were many generations before.
yup. i had a family member from way back who joined the navy at 17 to fight in WW1.
"just a kid"

Nuss was not given every opportunity to succeed. He was given one of the worse o lines lsu has ever fielded……a disgrace….
You know what's funny about this? Simpson was hurried, hit, and sacked more than Nuss.

Well, he is actually a good QB so that helps a lot.

15 years ago .. ok
But now … no… I am blaming a person that was paid 3 million dollars to provide results for my business and he failed miserably..
I sell poor performing stocks and move on.. … the relationship between players/students/fans/ universities has changed
I did not ask to change them …

I do not think he played well this year. Nuss was hurt this year and some people believe that’s the reason for his poor play. Hopefully for him he can get healthy, get coaching and improve. I’d be genuinely happy for him if he can fight through all of this and improve.

I've never had any expectations from him, don't think even would have ever been here if it weren't for his last name

Is he over 18? Is he making millions ?
F him. He will be fine

I get tired of hearing how a 19-22 year old is a kid. At 20 I was part of Desert Storm. Worried about a hellava lot more than a LB hitting me and bet you’re arse I wasn’t making $100,000 or more. You are old enough to vote, you took unbelievable money to play a kids game. Man up and do the job!
Posted on 11/9/25 at 2:12 pm to MetArl15
This… Nuss has played FB since he’s a kid. He has been PAID to do a job and he failed. Paid more money as 24 yr old to pay football in 6 months then I will make in 10 years and I have a decent paying job. Criticism is valid and deserved, it clear his skills are not SEC caliber. The sad thing is somewhere someone didn’t have the guts to tell him or his dad the truth he’s just not good enough to be productive in this conference.

At 18 your eligible to vote and can enlist in the military but at 23 you're a kid? You've got to be fking kidding....I'll bet you wear a helmet and full body pads when you ride your bicycle in your neighborhood too. ??

He played better than MVB did last night but the expectations are blinding our fan base
Of course there are expectations. Every person in the world has them. It is not delusional to expect a 5th year senior to be great and its certainly not delusional to expect him to be at least really good. He is neither.
He did have better stats than MVB, but from whole team perspective, he failed. He is by any definition, a mentally scarred QB with horrible body language who exacerbates the offenses deficiency's.
And no person in their right mind not would expect a 5th year senior in his 22nd straight start at LSU to be infinitely better than a second year backup seeing his first meaningful action in almost a calendar year and judge their performances accordingly.

Nuss is weak and really not a team player, he was focused on himself then and still today.
