This whole injury saga is fricking bizarre. Takes 3 weeks to acknowledge there is an issue, says he can’t heal until he has a full week off but has to play against SELA for some odd reason and is simultaneously “over the hump” 2 days after saying he has an injury, and then is no longer injured after he plays like shite again. Whole thing smells like shite

This.

“But Kelly said he’s healthy and he played against SELA.”

I don’t give a frick. He has zero velocity on his throws. He’s slower than he was last year. He’s never liked contact but he’s actively avoiding it this year.

He’s injured. Yes, that means Kelly is lying about it, but he’s clearly not right.

It’s to a point that it’s costing them wins, so a change has to be considered.

They didn’t try to run with Berry and Jackson. That’s why they dropped 8.

Kelly has made it worse with the back and forth over it, but you can go back and watch Nuss play in the SECCG vs UGA and he doesn’t even resemble that guy at the moment. Go back and watch the zip he was putting on the ball. frick, go back and watch the last two drives he had vs Ole Miss last year.

What ever the reason, Nuss isn’t throwing a ball that looks like those passes right now. He wasn’t throwing over 10 yards with good accuracy today.

He had three crow hop throws no pressure within 45 yards.pure back yard let it rip throws. All were under thrown by 5 yards. So our gun slinger qb is completely done. Nuss lost this game. Period. Hate to break the Nuss bus fam but he’s done. Not bashing the kid maybe he got hurt. Maybe he’s not ready but me at 50 years old could throw a free crow hop throw further than LSU’s starting qb………..period.

Had this same convo with my neighbor (also an LSU fan). My back yard from the edge of my screened lanai to the lagoon is 53 yds, 47 to the fence. I had him throw a football with me standing at my fence. It fell 5 yds short. Please send a video of you actually throwing a ball 50 yds in the air. Cause I call BS that you can throw it 50 yds.

You take the NIL money, you have to perform.

I disagree. That said, I think he realizes that he's going to get no help from the scheme or the ground game, so if he has a bad game, then we lose. That's a lot of pressure to put on him.

That’s what he’s paid for, to perform under pressure. If he can’t perform then he needs to be benched. This is 100% on BK. He alone can make the call but he’s a pussy.

$10 M on a head coach in today’s game is stupid. Spend that money on players that will follow their coach coordinating them at another school after they have gained experience

That’s easy to say right now, but no one could have foreseen how quickly we would go from NIL and the portal starting to full pay for play, to now programs paying players directly. That all happened in just 4 years. No coach except Saban coming out of retirement would get that contract today.

I told y'all last year during the A&M collapse.

Nuss is more worried about looking cute than being a champion. It is what it is.

Dude, we ran off LG one time and the ball carrier ran b/w LG and LT and NEITHER lineman was even engaged with a defender

This coordination is so FUBAR that anybody vaguely familiar with the sport can see how bad it is

You don’t need to be a seasoned coach or even fan to recognize what is wrong

Everyone was saying to bench him for SE. If he was injured, zero reason to play that game.

I really think he did it to keep any Heisman hopes alive, and they are gone now.

This is repeat of year 1 with JD5. Way too much pressure being put on the QB for a shite scheme. This is all on coaching... or the lack thereof.
