I am just presenting the numbers and make no judgment about any of the passers on the lists

First in passing yards. Nuss is 8th all-time and his 2024 season is second all-time in LSU history. He has no single game in the top 10 but he has two over 400 that fall just short of the 413 mark, which is 10th

In terms of passing TDs, Nuss is 5th all-time tied with Herb Tyler at 40 and his 2024 season is third all-time in TDs with 29. He also has one game with 6 TDs passing which ties him with JB and JD for the second most TDs ever thrown in a game by an LSU QB.

Edited to fix a moment and to add attempts, completions, and percent completed for my buddy Lester on the yardage tables.

Why leave off passing attempts, Mingy?

I was just looking at what I had available on the page I got the data from. I can add more raw stats later if anyone want me too.

Thanks mingy. To properly analyze stats we need sample size.

Davey, Hodson, and Tyler should have more since they didn’t freaking start counting bowl stats til 2002

Based off this he can def take over the 1 spot next season. Although I hope we have more of a run game so we don’t have to rely on him so much.

Does anyone else see what a waste Mett was under Les? He could have been really good with any kind of passing offense.

Why are we using Daniels' stats from 2022?

Nuss career yards 5763 8th overall
Mett career yards 5783 9th overall

I’m not a math genius but something isn’t right here.

He had a pretty good season considering none of the '24 receivers are close to the level of Chase, Jefferson, Nabers or BTJ.

When everyone knew he had to throw the ball from a lack of run game. And they had to throw it all underneath and deep threat so they shrunk the field.

He did this without:
Malik Nabers
Brian Thomas Jr
Justin Jefferson
Jamaar Chase
Terrace Marshall Jr.

Nobody was close to any of these on this squad receiving.

J Russell - 67% comp Jr year with Bowe, Buster Davis (first round and Early Doucet - probably the most talented team in LSU history.

Matt Flynn - 56% with better receivers and running game.

Usually i wouldn't care if somebody did this, but since Madking is and always will be a JD5 hater and Nuss nuthugger, here i go.

JD5 - 574 plays 6 total turnovers
Nuss - 559 plays 14 total turnovers

Don't know about anybody else, but I'll take 207 less yards and 3 less TDs (Daniels had a receiving TD too), on 25 more plays if i get 1 turnover ever 95.6 plays compared to 1 turnover every 40 plays.
